"These guys know their stuff and will get you fitter than you thought possible!"

"Having started with Total Fitness from the beginning, what I can say is that its like training with your friends, the classes are a social catch up as much as hard work, the level of helpfulness from the trainers as well as fellow class members is what makes it the ideal place for me to train. Over the years I have joined most of the gyms in Milton Keynes, but in many cases they are quite soul-less, at TFMK, you feel part of a team, I for one am rubbish training on my own and I get so much more out of a workout if I am doing it in a class based atmosphere. The location is brilliant for me and with plenty of free and easy parking, just makes the whole package work. I also have regular PT’s at TFMK and training 1-2-1 with the same equipment and in the same environment as the classes, again makes you feel right at home.

The trainers and Class leaders are all super professional and highly trained, The “Andy’s” are a bottomless pit of useful information around training, nutrition and aftercare, I have had to get back to training many times after injury and each time TFMK has made me stronger and better. For me its just a way of life training at TFMK"

"I have wanted nutritional support combined with my exercise regime and Total Fitness offers both. The level of knowledge is excellent as well as being based on scientific proven research and not some fad.

I love early morning classes to set up the day and the timetable is perfect for this.

The group is really friendly, not clicky like some places I have been.

I am 4 weeks in and already feel great, cravings gone and body changing for the positive."

Lindsey

"I love Total Fitness – I have been a long standing member and I can’t think of anywhere better to train. It totally meets my needs for working out and each class is a challenge. I have been at previous gyms where the Les Mills Body Pump releases have been used and they just become so repetitive – the timetable at TF may show the same title for a class each week but every week the class has been planned by both Andy’s to make sure these stay relevant, challenging & fun. You don’t get the same class twice – which means your body is challenged as it doesn’t get used to the same exercise and gets bored. The options are there to take the extra challenge and push yourself BUT they will ensure that you do this carefully & safely. I am currently recovering from a slipped disc and they have supported me in getting back to the classes and ensuring that I will continue to recover with corrections & adaptations to make sure I train safely but still get results.

Both Andy’s have a fantastic approach to supporting your fitness objectives and have their own fitness objectives that they are great advocates for. They offer advice in class and the best thing is they really get to know you and know how to motivate you to get the best out of a short workout.

The timetable will also evolve to maintain interest if a session starts to get stale or numbers drop.

I also like the fact that by 7am I have been challenged and I can go to work feeling super smug!"

I train to keep mobile. I have acute osteoarthritis and my knees get stiff and painful. Training at Total Fitness MK in Milton Keynes has made such a difference. I can now move better, I hardly have any pain or inflammation. Total Fitness Mk classes have really transformed my life. I did not think I would be able to do the classes, however I now feel stronger and fitter.

Everyone is supportive, the trainers at Total Fitness MK find ways to adapt exercises to make it work for you.

The trainers are motivational and super friendly, and they will get you fitter.

The fitness classes are full of great people who all help each other no matter your level in fitness. YOU will be supported by everyone at Total Fitness MK. We are one big family.

"I joined Total Fitness to get in shape for my wedding. I’ve always exercised in some capacity but I tended to go through phases of committing to something, be it swimming, yoga or just going to the gym by myself.

However, I wanted something that I could stick at and that would work around my schedule. My friend Alice who is also a member encouraged me to come along for the free trial. And I’m so glad I did! I really enjoyed my first class (even though it didn’t feel like it at the time!) I’ve never done circuit training before and found that it was really motivating to do a variety of different exercises in shorter bursts. It makes the session go a lot quicker!

I really enjoy the variety and the fact that every class is different. The Andys are so supportive and show you how to do every exercise – it’s all about the form! It really is like having a personal trainer, but without the hefty price tag. The classes are small too – no more than 12 people so you always have their full attention.

The people are great as well – everyone has varying levels of fitness but the classes work for everyone. You can go at your own pace or really push yourself. No one is judging you and we all support each other.

Even though my wedding has been and gone, I’ve still kept up the classes as it’s part of my routine now. I go 4 times a week before work. It gets it out the way and means I have the whole evening and weekends to just relax!

I’d definitely recommend Total Fitness to anyone – the free trial is a great way to experience the classes and everyone is really friendly! There are always new faces joining which is great."

"I had a gym membership at another gym but I just wasn’t even going most of the time, when I did I found I wasn’t pushing myself and the classes were too large and impersonal. I trialled Total Fitness for the free week and loved it.

I like the mix of classes, you never know what you’re going to be doing when you walk in and I like that, they really mix up the sessions and exercises that you do. I would never do half the exercise that I now do on a regular basis, who would volunteer to do a burpee??

Andy and Andy both soon to get to see what you’re capable of and push you when you need it but are also really good if you working around injuries and weaker areas.

I go to around 5 classes a week and I really miss it when I don’t go. I push myself more now, I feel so much fitter and stronger and I love it.

The classes are smaller and you get to know the people that you work out with on a regular basis so it’s always a friendly welcome when you walk in."
